St John’s is a community of people who have found God’s grace in the life, death and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ; are learning hope because Jesus is will return in glory; and are seeking more and more to be light in our homes and neighbourhoods, workplaces and communities, because Jesus is with us by his Spirit.
At 10am, we are a diverse community of people of all ages, cultures and life experience. Our Sunday service is energetic and contemporary in style, with great music, a sermon that seeks to wrestle with the realities of life and faith, and lots of voices contributing wisdom and insight.
At 5:30, we treasure the timeless depth of a classic church service. Rich liturgy, hymns the have stood the test of time, and meeting the God of grace in his Word read, preached, and enacted in the Lord’s Supper.
We're at 81 Alt St, Ashfield, a short walk from Ashfield Station. We meet every Sunday at 10am and 5:30pm.
