Christmas Weaving Workshop
Sharniqua will be leading us through a Christmas Weaving Workshop on Saturday, 2 December. The workshop is aimed to bring the community together whilst you weave earrings (or small baskets) and hear stories of country and faith from Sharniqua. It'll be a relaxed afternoon affair held in the church building from 3-5pm. Sorry guys, women only! Register here.
A little more about Sharniqua: Sharniqua is currently studying Design at UTS, and is a recognised emerging fashion designer. With heritage from Tiwi and the Kimberley's, all the way to Central Australia, she's passionate about retelling the stories of her land (hence, her business name, 'Retelling Country').
